Dear Fountain Valley PONY Baseball Parents

This year all players in the Shetland, Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, and Pony who are registered for spring season are eligible for All-Stars. All players in these divisions are automatically "nominated", and may be voted onto an All-Star team by their division manager.

FVPB's All-Star teams will play in multiple tournaments against All-Star teams from other PONY leagues, in hopes of progressing and winning tournaments until they reach the PONY World Series for their age group.

All-Star selection is an honor bestowed upon players based upon their division's manager’s recognition of those players’ skills, abilities, and talent. With this honor comes responsibility. There are obligations for those players selected for All-Star teams, and for t
heir parents. Please read the "All-Star Information" page by going to the link below.

After reading the All-Star info page, if you feel that you or your child are unable to fulfill the obligations of an All-Star for ANY reason (example: prepaid family vacation, undue financial burden, etc.) you may choose to "Opt Out" your child from All-Star voting.  This means your child will be removed from consideration for All-Star selection. Once a parent has opted a player out, that player cannot and will not be re-added to the voting ballot. If you choose to "Opt Out" your child, please complete the Opt Out form by going to the link below. This will help us with All-Star ballot preparation and information for managers during the voting process. Forms must be completed by parents online only.  Managers and coaches cannot "Opt Out" players, other than their own children. "Opt Out" forms must be completed no later than April 10th.

If you have any questions please let us know.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
